Had a relaxing Saturday. Did some shopping and basically enjoyed a lovely Fall day. Watched a Christmas movie on Hallmark and mom is talking about getting the Christmas Cds out. Trying to hold her off til Thanksgiving, lol. There was also prosciutto wrapped asparagus.. yumm

You know, for a second, I thought "Arthur is never going to hug Merlin, he is too dirty!" And then Arthur did and I realised the writers really wanted to show how relieved and happy Arthur was by hugging such a disgusting-looking Merlin. And it made me really really happy too!

Colin was excellent as usual. I love how Merlin takes being an old man as an opportunity to be mean to his friends. Well, not mean-mean, but, just more... direct? Also, he is clearly also shipping Leon/Percival. Just sayin'....

Also, I'm glad they used Gwen for comedy this week! She's always been really good at comic moments and that's a nice change from all her dull scenes of lately.

ETA: Also, I realised I used "also" a lot in this comment. Must be annoying to read. Oups!

I agree the hug was even more amazing because Arthur just didn't care how dirty or smelly his Merlin was he had to have him in his arms. And the pure joy on his face... *sigh*

Old!Merlin cracks me up.

I really liked Gwen this week too.
