I think your last paragraph very well summarized why I miss going to live concerts - that energy. I've developed some sort of anxiety so I'm not going to concerts anymore, and it has been a decade I think, and often I try to tell myself what Brian tells himself, why he's not interested - there'll be a crowd and people shove and you can't hear anything properly. But in reality, there's that energy of a good concert that is nowhere else. Very well captured.
