Not much to talk about.  Very bored.  Took a walk this morning and had one of the ranch hands run over to me to warn me out of the higher grass.  It was not very high, but the idea is you cannot see the snakes which have been turning up all over the place.  I need to be walking with my long stick and some knives.  :-)   I forget how many I have

I'm not sure what kind of snakes they are. Overall, I tend to let them live to keep the rats and mice down.

Rattle snakes, and we only kill the ones that are inside the main drive up near the house. If they come in here they are dead meat.
