I took a ride out to see some of the pastures that have been cut.  It smells nice and everything is so green, except for my shoes which are caked with mud.  Texas mud here is like clay and oil mixed together, and sticks to everything.

There's a brief window about this time of year, just as harvest is commencing, for a couple of weeks there's something I can't quite describe about the air, the light... when I sense the earth in all it's fullness - it's like an expectant mom who's about to deliver. I sense creation loving me.

Just checking in. Life has been crazy all around, I can see. Glad that we can look forward to cooler times in the near future.
