The cold weather has broken finally and we have had a lot of nice days.  So I have been walking more and being outside.  This is the best time of year since the summer is way to hot to be be outside.  I hope the nice weather does not fool the flowers and plants to start to bloom too early as you never know if we will have a late freeze again ( Read more... )

Howdy A., long time. How about some rattlesnake stories? I found a new partner after ditching the meth freak a few years ago. He's from Eastern Oregon, and we've been out there a few times. Saw a few dead rattlers on the road. I am a typical city slicker and totally paranoid. Beautiful country out there, though.

Hey, there.... it was good to hear about 15 degree temps and frost. It's summer where I am, and it's generally pushing 80 or 90 by mid morning!

Happy belated Valentine's Day. It sounds as if you're doing well.

The worst of the flooding was further north up in Queensland, so we lucked out in my neck of the woods. The damage in my town was limited to flash flooding and the causeways filling up so that various properties were cut off, but no one lost their homes.

Take care!

Crazy to think of it being cold in Texas. I always associate it with hot weather. Happy belated Valentines Day to you too!
