(A thought I had while reading: Doesn't Madam Pomfrey know what happened? Wouldn't she insist on getting the name of the student who assaulted Remus, or report it to Dumbledore? I'd like to think she would take the rape of a student seriously, especially one she knows as well as Remus. But even if she did, I can see why the boys would be reluctant to tell her who it was. Without volunteering the Map as evidence, they've got no proof that it was Snape. Except the theft of the wand.)

Thank YOU for reading this! Madam Pomfrey hasn't abandoned Remus. Although I would just like to leave out her whole figuring this out and deciding what to do with the information she gleans because it's going to be a lot of reading for you people, the Harry Potter fandom at large is far too smart for me to get away with such a gaping plot hole. This story just keeps getting longer and longer with every chapter I write...

Sorry; a symptom of my own writing is that I spend waaaaaaay too much time thinking about logistics. Obviously Pomfrey *can't* find out it's Snape, or can't prove it, because this is certainly an expellable offence, and Snape was never expelled. Unless this is going to end up being AU. There I go again....

I know what you mean about expanding stories. I had a one-shot I was working on once that ended up being 35,000 words and 13 chapters. I've given up estimating how long my stories will be, because I am always, always wrong.

Aww, thanks for having Sirius apologize. I can see how he feels now, and oh man...how he stood up to Kia, and that he talks about Remus all the time, I was cheering. And yay, they can be together, someday when things are calmer. :P

Oh man, I'm scared of when classes resume, and Remus has to be in the same class as Snape...
