Tonight I went to a meeting that I thought was going to be great. We've been trying to make this Sea Scout Ship fly here in Squaw Valley for a year and a half, and we just don't have the human resources to make it viable, so we met up with Doc Pierce tonight to see if we could move it to Fresno. Long story short, he doesn't want us to move the ( Read more... )

Aww, it's not your fault. Heck, I know I could certainly stand to be a better friend to you. It's partially mine for being such an introvert that I have a hard time making friends, and partially this moron Doc's fault for trying to rip my unit away from me.

By the way, now that you guys have your own house, where do I send stuff? Because now that I'm out of school, I can actually think about these things. :-p

Well, the thing is, I'm a severe introvert too, so when you talk about horseback riding competitions and Venture groups and everything, the very idea of willingly hanging out with other people scares me (I'm the girl that only lasted through two 4-H club meetings before quitting, remember), so I just keep quiet and don't reply to anything. I never figure I have much to say other than 'oh neat' anyway.

My address is here.

Oh, man, I *completely* hear you about being scared about the idea of hanging out with other people. It took me two years before I was really comfortable going to team meetings. It's strange, though. I almost think I feel more comfortable in groups now than in one-on-one situations (especially when I don't know the person that well), because it's easy to blend into the background in a group. I'm *still* not comfortable with going on trips with the team, because I usually am assigned one other girl to room with, and attempting to make conversationis UGH.

That's funny you should say that, because that's always how I feel about your posts on art and writing and things. ^_^

I don't know when I'm going to the post office next (probably next week when I go get hay), but you can expect a package coming your way in June.
