What were once sidewalks

Here's what it looks like outside my front door these days. ( Once upon a time these used to be sidewalks. )

So, when are we all going to move SOUTH?!?!? I'm considering it! (Thor won't budge out of New England, though, for no reason other than this is where he knows. I'm pushing for moving to Scotland!)

I don't want to stay in this awful climate forever, that's for sure. I'm even questioning whether it's wise for me to be looking to buy a condo here, but since I'm not going anywhere yet I guess I may as well look...

Scotland, eh? Is it for the men in kilts? ;)

Well, of course! And the scots burrrrr, and the lovely countryside. And the way they have community: they don't have bars, they have pubs. Everyone goes and just hangs out, not to get drunk but to be social and keep in touch. It's nice.

I think those sidewalks are now a figment of your imagination.

Yup. :( What's it like in Somerville these days? (And if I were to take the car to Davis Square tomorrow afternoon, do you think I'd have a prayer of finding a parking space in one of the lots? I'm guessing a lot of the normal street parking is now iceburgs.)

What's all that rubble? Here we could open an Olympic training area for speed skating *erk* The only rubble is at the intersections. I don't think anybody on our block even bothered to try to shovel their sidewalk..

Icebergs! I think we need to create a new Olympic sport: speed walking on icebergs!

It got above freezing for a while today, and is supposed to do so again tomorrow and mid-week but they're also predicting more snow/rain mixes. The WORST weather! Give me snow or rain but not both in the same storm. :/
