How strange is this?

Last week there were two posts on my friends list about missing cats. The posts came right after one another on the same day -- mind you these people (and cats) live thousands of miles apart. I've been following the two different missing-cat sagas for days ( Read more... )

Makes you wonder if they went on vacation together somewhere, doesn't it?

Yes! They used to be able to get away with this sort of behavior but now the internet makes it harder for them to sneak off without getting caught! :-)

Hmm, you should read "Dream of a Thousand Cats" by Neil Gaiman. Because my thought was, maybe they both left to go to a big cat meeting or something. ;)

OOh, that sounds like something fun to read. :-) Yes, they obviously were away at a big cat meeting! One to which cats travel from all over the world.

Uh oh...why do I suddenly have "Fluffy's Master Plan for World Domination" playing in my head? :-)

Heh heh. Scared? We should be. :-O

I'm glad the kitties made it home okay. I never like to hear about missing kitties. I've lost a couple over the years and still miss them.

LOL!! That's amazing! Glad your other friend got her cat back too. We have no idea where Morgan went. I like the idea of him going to a cat meeting, except that the other three didn't go. Unless he was their representative. So the rest of the gang could keep an eye on me! LOL!!

That is an amazing coincidence though.

The other missing kitty was also the only one in the household to disappear, so there must be some rule about the Annual Meeting of the Cats only needing one representative per household. The rest of the cats, like you said, needed to stay behind to care for their humans. :-)
