Wow, I never would have guessed there would be an entire LJ community designated for kitties like mine!

A little bit about her before I post some pictures.

I have a friend who volunteers at a local shelter. She calls me one day and tells me that there is this kitty there that has been there forever. She mentions that she is not a very attractive cat

She looks very soft and floofy! And very lucky to have found someone who'd give her a chance and a home. :)

It soundsw so lame, but she is like, my best friend. When I had surgery, she slept me in my bed when I was recovering. She only left the bed when I did. I find myself to be the lucky one. :)

Honest, not lame at all. I found our cat Inanna on Petfinders.org because her family wanted to find her a home so that she wouldn't have to spend a single day in a shelter. Infact, they said if we ever needed to give her up for any reason, we should contact them before talking to any shelters. Give her up?? As if! We've had her for 3 years now and she's _my_ best friend. I just got home right now and she immediately left her bed where she's been undoubtedly sleeping the past 8 hours, and is now pawing my lap to be allowed up. :)
