[After some of the initial planning for the attack has been made, Batman found himself in possession of a certain sword.  Now, to make good on his ability of getting it back to the Samurai when he needed it most.  And there was one person he knew he could turn to that was heading to the front lines.  Plus... he could prove helpful in getting Batman

[Somehow, whoever this person was, knew him by name. Not that he wasn't already accustomed to that, but the message that reached him was more enigmatic due to the drawn symbol. Was that a bat? The only bat he knew of was definitely at home, and she was far from being this mysterious.

But this person meant business, and Sonic couldn't let an opportunity to help someone pass him by, whatever the situation was. There was the slightest moment of doubt that it could've been a villain's ruse, but even if it were, he thought he would be able to handle it in any case. Thus in response, Sonic wrote back, signature blue ink quickly scrawled across the page.]

I'll be there. You have my word on that!

[Once the agreed amount of time had passed, Sonic headed over to the meeting spot in front of the seventh community building.]

[A moment or so after Sonic arrives on the scene, Batman decides to make his presence known. He had shown, just as he requested. Good to see he was a man of his word.

He'll step out of the shadows of the community building, into plainer view, though he keeps his form hidden within the folds of his cape for now.]

Sonic. Right on time.

[It didn't take long at all to notice the one who sent the message. And good thing too that he made himself known, since Sonic wasn't sure exactly who to expect. The blue hedgehog gave Batman a nod once he was acknowledged.]

'Course! Couldn't let someone who needs help down, could I? What can I do for ya?
