The motherboard on our computer is kaput. We've ordered a new one, but it'll be a week before it comes and we can install and repair our computer. For now, our internet access is limited to Kevin's parents house

That's some serious money saving. Are you guys just trying to save more for a down payment?

Mostly because as of right now I'm the only one with a job come fall- Kevin was working as a behavior disorder para at a high school nearby, but several para positions were cut because of budget issues- he'll know by August if his job renews or not- in the meantime, he is looking at additional employment and we're both returning to school (me this summer, Kevin next year) so we're saving money for house/school/back up in case our world completely crashes.
