So im finally paying my overdue tuition for this semester! Really, I am being held captive as a spectator to Bill Pine's battle with the Federal Credit Bureau.

Sallie Mae used to be really great. Their customer service was personable and reasonable and genuinely friendly.
Now, they don't actually try to help, they are difficult to understand, they pretend to understand what the customer is saying when they do not, they don't actually listen to what the customer says, they respond with non-sequiturs, they have no grasp of logical reasoning, they send by mail the wrong information with cover letters stating that the customer requested something totally different from what was requested, and when calls get too difficult they say they will check on it and would it be okay to call the customer back before the end of the day and then do not call.
This from a quasi-government company disbursing federally subsidized student loans? Oy.
