On Shoal Creek Boulevard, a popular biking route, the city allows parkign in the bike lanes and has even installed planters in the bike lanes. Supposedly the planters are for traffic calming.. but mostly they are just an obstacle

Thanks for the input. We will come back in December to discuss the
restriping plan but we did agree to remove the curb islands. bd

I got a reply too. I am kinda surprised because I thought emails like this just went off into the ether.

So yea let's hope for restriping!
