The idiocy of the CBC

So, the CBC didn't have enough money to retain the iconic theme to Hockey Night in Canada (thankfully saved by TSN in order to remain the hallmark intro to Canadian hockey telecasts), but the idiot executives feel blowing Canadian tax-dollars on 'reality' tripe like 'The Week the Women Went' is AOK. CBC is stinking these days ? This is news ?

Isn't the Week the Women Went based on some sort of literature refrence or something. I vagly recall Em talking about it in a way that lent the (admitedly lame) concept a bit of cultural depth. But I could be misremembering.

Also... agiain I am sorry about the phone issues last night... I was probably sitting on the couch waiting for you while you were trying to dial in. We can try again next week.

No, you're right, it's not really news. I'm just really disappointed with the CBC's decisions and direction, especially given its supposed role as the bastion of Canadian culture and heritage.

And don't worry about yesterday. Shit happens.
