That comment was so deeply offensive to so many people following that thread I can't decide if I'm glad the mod froze all replies or if I wish she could've gotten schooled some more. Talk about privilege, ignorance and parroting statistics all while arguing that it's better to put a child that you love up for adoption because it's not like love has anything to do with it. I just... can't really begin to address the faulty logic in linking a single mother to behavioral problems/unhappiness in children. there are too many other factors involved, and too many biased "studies" that are just out there to feed propaganda of one sort or another.

It didn't escape any of us that the one study she dated was from the year I was born, the others didn't have any dates and there were no links attached to any sort of organizations to back them up. For all I know, that's all off the Fox News website. Fair and balanced, fair and balanced.
