So, I'm a little late with this posting, but I wanted to let folks know that this coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings (January 8-10) will be the first Physics is Phun shows of 2009. This week, our topic is Electricity and Magnetism (i.e. Things That Go Zap).

Wait, this is near University Park, isn't it? If so, I may be able to help out. I would need detailed directions, though, since I've never really been to the campus.

Well, the map link didn't parse correctly, but here's my best guess: Go north on Route 1/Baltimore Ave through College Park. When you see Paint Branch Parkway on your right, turn left into the big brick gateway of the campus. This puts you on the creatively named Campus Drive. In two short blocks, you come to a traffic circle; take the right turn here onto Regents Drive. You will shortly see a parking garage on your left and the Physics Lecture Hall on your right. The former looks like a parking garage, for parking cars in; the latter is a low one-storey extension onto the 4-storey Physics Building, with large glazed double doors. Go in the doors (after depositing car, if appropriate, as it will not fit), and the lecture halls are in front of you and to the left. I'm probably there, or in the workroom behind them.

Do you know what night or nights you might come? (And do you have favourite pizza toppings I should try to lobby the boss for?)
