And this is one of those days when I really could be anywhere else...

I totally hear you on that one. I never felt more bored at work than I did today. Hardly any customers came in and we were relegated to doing 'busy' work that won't make any difference in how the place operates. Nothing worse than performing a task that won't accomplish anything, even if one is paid to do it.

I hope the new year will bring forth many new opportunities for you to move forward in your field. A steady job does sound like a good idea, as having an unpredictible schedule doesn't allow for the structure one needs to really focus. Good luck! :)

Best of luck with the upcoming review. Since folks tend to have a memory that remembers the bad more than a good keep a smile, work hard and be helpful as that is the best way to impress them into giving you a nice raise.

Hi there, just curious where you lived in Nova Scotia. I came from Enfield (near the Halifax airport) to Calgary about 9 years ago. I share many of your views about the furry community and I just wanted to say hello. Take care, Wolfus.

Ah. That would explain why you're responding to a post that is decades old. NO big deal.

WWell Lesse. First I moved to Aylesfrod in the valley to live with Mom for a few years. Then I moved to Middleton for a few whiel doing my IT Systems Management/Networking diploma. Then I moved back in with Mom for a while. Then I moved to Dartmouth and lived up in Highfield Park for a few years. Now I am here, in Edmonton.
