$120 a month? I usually get mine done once a year and it isn't so bad. I don't think your roots would look that bad if they started to grow in with the red color. After about 5 months the color will start to fade, but it will still keep a reddish tint to it- mine always does. Maybe try every four months or something. The color will still look good :)
