To anyone in Australia currently caught up in it, I'm thinking of you. The news reports aren't looking very positive at the moment. D:

Indeed. Luckily I live on fairly high ground though places 20km away or so might flood. Looks like more rain in the next 24 hours too.

Oh good!! I forgot to ask you about that, but since we were babbling about baths, I figured you were safe. <3

Oh I am. My parents were once cut off by water at a place we lived in ages ago and a helicopter had to ferry them food. They requested chocolate ^^; since then they have preferred higher ground.

Yep. It has been raining a lot for the past month and a half due to La Nina. More so in the flooded areas. Brisbane's main dam has went from 20% capacity two years ago to 170% today. Everything is soaked. And damp. But you know, my home wasn't washed away so that is plus.

Major plus!

170%? Wooooow. That's... it's hard to even imagine that much water. I've never seen serious flooding myself, but I'll never forget days and days of rain we had in Virginia, and it always amazed me they'd built the drainage system to handle it. Sounds like the water in Aussie is insane, though, I'm feeling for the rescue & maintenance crews, they must be working nonstop. D:

lol, your parents are awesome! And they have style. :)
