When I was five, I wanted to be an astronaut. When I was ten, I wanted to be an astronomer. When I was fifteen, I wanted to be a writer. This. Guh...You just described my life aspirations to the t... *mildly stunned* Heh. Amazing. That said, I second the above poster's comment...and I still want to be a writer. Considering I'm sooo much farther away from it than you, why do you think like you can't be both a designer and writer? Most great writers in history were also something else at the same time :)
Too true!! Actually, recently I came to some sort of epiphany because my dad wants me to write this story about some things in our family, ect. And I'm thinking, I've been writing while designing the whole time, so there's really no reason I can't do both... I guess part of it is that I don't think my writing is of any quality to ever be published, but I do have lots of people telling me otherwise, so I'm 99.9% positive this is all in my head. ^^
