why not do the recall to punish the company?? Rock Star North should pay the price for embedding that crap in the game. It wouldnt be an issue if they had done their jobs. When the game went for its initial rating im sure they didnt tell the board that the scenes were in the game, so they should be punished. And even if they did a recall all it would do was pull the games from the shevles for a few days, people are not going to be taking them back to the stores in droves.

It's the spirit of the recall, that it is happening precisely because people had to go out of their way of the game-as-released (and the game-as-released is what was rated by the ESRB originally) to get the "obscene" minigame to happen at all ( ... )

I am in agreement that I find it is funny that a game laden with hardcore violence rained upon innocent bystanders in most cases, crammed with profanity and racial slurs, glorifying crime/ drug trades and the objectification of women is just fine and - for the most part accepted.

but throw in an ultra hidden mini-game involving fully clothed simulated sex and all of the sudden it is, as you said, "burn the witch."

Rockstar needs to be punished, if for no other reason being dumbasses for putting this in the game. It is in the PS2 version as well, meaning the code was knowingly put in there. They knew it was there, they allowed it to be shipped. Rockstar's irresponsibility has brought fire down on the whole industry and is danger of ruining the party for everyone else.

I never liked Rockstar, I was never a fan of GTA though I never felt they should be prevented from making it. I wouldn't put it past rockstar to have been the ones that RELEASED the patch to the net to get their name back in the spotlight.
