This post is about living in the past because what I left there should have never been left behind in the first place. I guess i was thinking there still may be a chance to relight a burnt out candle stick. But i guess now all I was doing was living in a dream world.
there's no doubt that there are some things we wish we did or didn't do - all of us feel that way sometime in our lives. the problem is that it is in the past. things happen for a reason, and you may not recognize it now. but if you spend time regretting things, then you might not truly enjoy today. and today is what is important. if you can forgive yourself, that is the first step to moving on. and you never know -- things may come back in to your life that you did not expect. i'm not sure what your situation is, but you are alive today. that is a blessing in itself. if we dwell on the past, then today will pass us by. it's a vicious circle. is there something you can do, like even forgive yourself, to better the situation?
