I'm sure you must be glad to be home. It must be tough to lose people and I'm sure army life must hard at times.

The picture is a little subdued compared to what I felt when the plane touched down in the states. It is hard, but I've made it through, and awesome people have made it good.

Deployments work in a cycle, so I'm back till its my turn on rotation.

I missed this the other day and I'm sorry for not replying sooner! I knew you were army-based but I hadn't realised you were actually posted over in Iraq. I'm so, so glad that whatever little pieces of chat we had helped you out and my heart goes out to you for the loss of your unit member - I really feel for you there.
