The Senate voting is almost over, and I see DADT gasping it's last breathe. Am I gay, no. But I am a black woman. So I was the last person to support any type of government enforced discrimination. So I am relieved that for right now, any American can now be who they are and serve their country proudly. Except for stoners, criminals, and fatties. I

This is great news, about time they got rid of DADT.

I know, it's going to be interesting to hear all the reactions back at work tomorrow. In my office, I'm the only that supported the repeal, but I'm also the only female in there.

I'm sure there will be some negative reactions but if someone was serving with me I wouldn't care what their sexuality was. Hopefully attitudes will change.
