I think I might have to go with the crowd on this one and say that relief is probably by far the most preferable feeling out of the choices given. Don't get me wrong, I think they all have their good points, but relief is probably the only one that has *only* good points.
It's not that I'm *against* revenge. I've taken my fair share of it and I'm

I remember some people I knew back on Caprica who would definitely go with revenge or vindication. In a way I'm kind of glad they didn't make it because they wouldn't have survived what we've survived.
I think it's very important to focus on the positive, and relief comes with that.

OOC: Sorry, Boomer's pissy right now.

Did you really want to be specifically named in the revenge bit? Would that really make anything better, if I wanted revenge on you? And revenge for what? From what I've gathered, you've suffered more than your fair share.
And what would you have to do with vindication? I was never right about you on anything.
As for relief, read more carefully.
OOC: It's okay. Chief's been a little pissy lately himself, but he was remarkably even-killed for this particular outing.

But you're right. It doesn't matter. None of it matters anymore.

'I'm right and it doesn't matter'? Happens far too often these days.

Obviously, none of mine, but I still can't believe she got put back on active flight status as soon as she did. Sort of like grabbing Roslin and Zarek right from under a Cylon (not Athena) massacre squad and three days later swearing them in as President and Vice-President. To be sure, no one's better for the job than Roslin and she's proven it countless times just since New Caprica alone, but still. A little breathing room sure would've helped me.
It's like pick up where you left off, here are your flight suits/XO pins/wrenches/whatever. Yeah, frak off.

Sorry I wasn't looking out for Starbuck, Sam. I got overruled, in more ways than one. And I didn't mean to imply that what you did was useless, standing up for your principles. It did buy Gaeta some time, during which he spoke to Starbuck. And if he hadn't, we would have airlocked the biggest hero we had.

The whole situation was out of hand. The people at the top made the decisions for the rest of us same as they always do. One hand, that's the way it has to be now. Other hand, if that's the way it is, what's the point? Thing is people changed on New Caprica and a lot that was lost when we returned to business as usual. You probably know that more than most.
Anyway, I'm not convinced Kara should be flying now but she's Starbuck. And she certainly doesn't listen to me.

You did what you could same as me. So.

And the stupid thing is that I look back and I can't find a better way to have gone about everything. There was no time, no space, to come up with a better solution. That's why I was trying to keep my nose out of other people's business. Something that has to do with Cally, that's my business. And something that has to do with my people, that's my business. Anything else?
My understanding of the situation, and this could be a misinterpretation, is that Starbuck was told to make herself useful. So was Colonel Tigh. They both seem to be a little more even-keeled at the moment. Course, they'd probably be even better off if people would mind their own business.

Drinks later on? We'll talk about anything BUT business.
