"You are such a child." He replies mildly, but loosens the bandage just the same. Tending to the Captain isn't something he isn't used to, although, tending to injuries is fairly new. Three paper cuts in three hours has to be some sort of record. Not even Ianto, who works with paper all day holds that title. Congratulation Jack.

Ianto isn't being fussy, not really, but the Welshman's concern over certain details has him checking and double checking. "You should have Owen give you some antibiotics, you have been immune to most things for quite some time, we can't be too careful."

He has to laugh. "I'm not going to die by flu," he says, though he knows that everyday, even in the UK, people do indeed die from something that simple. And Ianto has a point. He doesn't have the antibodies to protect him from something as simple as an infection from a paper cut, let alone stop what might just be sniffles in a normal person into a death sentence.

Jack might have just paled.

"I'm fine." He's not, but he'll play at it.

He's going to be busy spending the day going through reports anyhow. But first, he's switching to the laptop.

"Right, and I'm not going to die from some alien virus." So, flat. You know he's right you stubborn fool so quit playing at things and be just a little worried so he doesn't have to feel like he's the only 'human' in the room.

He saw that. Ianto narrows his eyes just slightly and sighs. "Yes, sir. Of course you are."

Here's to hoping you don't die of blood loss from an excessive number of paper cuts.

Jack knows what 'sir' means and it's never a good thing. He frowns a little at the mention of alien viruses as well. They'd had a close call not all that long ago. He'd nearly lost Ianto.

So, Jack sighs and gets to his feet.

"All right, but if Owen pokes me again or takes any more blood, I'm going to install mandatory STD testing every week."

"You better have brought garlic bread." He looks at the pile of clothing and his bags then back to Jack. "What do you mean?"

Yes, he knows theres a lot of clothes. Yes, he will probably cut it back. He has to put his suits in the suit bag, anyway. His jeans and other things go in a regular suitcase. So how bad could it be? Two bags.... for a week.

"At least I'm not packing my steamer. Then we'd have to take a separate flight."

"Oh, I like it when you're bossy!" Jack's here for distraction, Yan. And if that means teasing you and helping you pack, so be it. Jack laughs and pulls out the frumpiest pair of jeans he's ever seen.

They're at least two sizes too big for his office-boy-turned-agent and he frowns at him.

"Taking fashion advice from Owen again?"

He does chuckle a bit and rolls his eyes. He looks at the jeans with an arched brow. "Well, I had this idea. It isn't as easy to be distracted by tight jeans if they aren't tight."

Actually, he so rarely wears them, those are probably left overs from a time when he was-- no you know what he's not even sure where those jeans came from, that's a bit disconcerting.

He takes the rogue jeans and sets them aside replacing them with a more suitable pair. There Jack you will have the best view in America by the time he's done packing his bag. You.Are.Welcome.

Jack will actually beg to differ. He thinks anyone he's with gets the best view. You don't have his kind of charisma without think you're God's gift. Can you imagine if he got cloned Jack'd never leave himself alone!

"I am never distracted when it really matters. Like now. Watching you fuss with socks? Absolutely something I'd never want to aid in distracting from." Boom! Dose of big blue eyes headed right your way. A little grin too. Someone is itching for a little more than sitting on your bed, Ianto.
