The Invisibles

I have been thoroughly engrossed in a recently discovered graphic novel series that, though quite different, is on a par with Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. I liked what I read of The Invisibles, but I don't think I managed to get my hands on all of it, alas.

Have you read any Warren Ellis? _Transmetropolitan_ is the well-known one, though I'm also very fond of both the premise and execution of _The Global Frequency_.

Also, have you read Gaiman's 1602? That's another favorite of mine. The Marvel universe characters, but in 1602! How cool is that?

Luckily the library here has the whole series.

What i've read of _Global Frequency_ i thought was good, and, yeah, i really got a kick out of _Marvel 1602_. Himm...i'll have to hunt down _Transmetropolitan_ though.

Have you read much Allen Moore (V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Swamp Thing)? He's another one of my favorites.

I think you'll enjoy Transmet.

I've read a fair amount of Alan Moore. Not all of his Swamp Thing stuff, I think, because that's harder to get hold of, but I've read Watchmen and V for Vendetta and From Hell (though I didn't like that one much. Too yucky for my taste). Oh, and I've read most of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which is quite fun in places (unlike the movie, from what I hear)

Well I'm still reading Sandman...Library just got HUGE book that is from 1-20. I read it while Patrick is at work, but once I finish with that I'll definately try The Invisibles. Shit, Tarantino, Dick, and Gibson on acid in Waking Life...that's something I'll have to see/read.
