the cliff dwellings is a really nice hike, been there only once though. i haven't been to rock city yet. rock hound is an interesting place to go if you want to see the various plant life that springs up around here.
movie theater, it is over by pit park and the train station-the train station is sandwiched by the movie theater and the pit park across the street, which is on the tail end of country club( it looks like you could jump onto the highway from there). dunno where the entry way is to the theater/bowling alley is though, just general location. it is open now i believe, the opening night was on a sat sometime in the past two weekends (i didn't go but remember seeing it in mondays paper)
We had friends from our days in Denver visit and that's what finally got us out on the road sight-seeing last week.
Sadly, I don't know where pit park or the train station are either but I will find everything eventually. Do trains actually stop here anymore or is bus the only option when traveling?
We are doing just fine, thanks. I'm planning on starting a soap opera adventure comic strip soon and as I use lots of photo reference there may be "roles' for the both of you.
i gave you locals directions anyways, try this: from wal-mart parking lot turn left, you will pass the tire store and motel. when you see the junor college on your right and a closed down gas station on your left, turn left at that light. pit park is at the end of the road to your left, the newely moved and renovated train station is to your right. from there you can see the movie complex, but just how to get to it i'm unsure of.
we do have trains come through almost regular, but i don't know if any are passanger or not.
the soap opera comic strip sounds like fun, sounds good to me :).
