The pretentious asswipe who crossed the Double Yellow line during a snow storm...
This is a totally useless gesture of a post, but in case you know this person, or, God forbid, are this person, I'm talking to you:
When there is snow falling, and ice on the road, and traffic is backed up for miles, crossing the double yellow line to get ahead of the traffic is just a Dickwad thing to do. Sure, I know your Lexus SUV can make it over the dusting of snow and crust of ice... so could my little prius... but I respected the traffic laws, like the other 1000 people on that 3 mile stretch of road that we spent 2 hours traversing. All you did was get me pissed off, and save yourself 5-10 minutes, at best. I only wish that you had come upon the cop around the next bend WHILE you were on the wrong side. Or that you had slid your stupid vehicle into the ditch like so many other arrogant SUV drivers, and scraped the hell out of it.
Yes, I'm still mad.
Yes it has been almost a week.
Yes, I'd probably key this car if I saw it again -- and I know it isn't the poor car's fault -- in the right hands, it could be a tool of good *cue Hummer "angel of mercy" ad here...* but in your hands, it stands for all that people hate about SUVs and the people who drive them.
