Had a bike accident yesterday, in fact. Car turned left across my path. No contact, but the hard stop flipped the bike up, and I went over the bars (

You were surprised - as almost all of us were - by events a few weeks after your post.

Happy birthday, sir. belated as I just got through another big email stack after escaping from the hospital again.

I've been hospitalized for a long stretch 'til January, and off and on before and since (for example, I got out Wednesday night and am still largely confined to bed). Nevertheless, I'm committed to post actively on LJ again and would appreciate and enjoy your participation.

I still get dozens of comments on some posts, and 100+ on the April 6, 2014 post on the death of my Lady Anne (from the dinner that later crippled me). Many conservatives you knew are still here.

I hope that you stay!
