Wow, those socks are gorgeous! Now I want to make a pair of them. :P Lorna's Laces is definitely my favorite sock yarn of all-it's so soft and the colors are so lovely. It is expensive though. I've found that theknitter.com has a good selection of colors-it isn't as cheap there as on the site you linked to, but shipping is free (although if you bought a lot of skeins, the difference in price would wipe out the savings on shipping pretty quickly). She has a pretty wide variety of mostly high-end yarns at prices that are not excellent exactly, but reasonable in comparison to most places. And I've always been very satisfied with the service. Also, if you're considering flirting with a different sock yarn, she has quite a few others, including Mountain Colors Bearfoot, which is absolutely luscious. It only comes in variegated colors though. (Hm, I should post pictures of the lace knee-hi's I made with it ( ... )

oOooh, those turned out great! So I take it we'll be taking another trip to Loopy while you're here? ;)

As for my favorite DPN, I've not tried many different ones, but I do like the Clover DPN that I have (interesting, because I don't really like their other needles).
