Monday, June 12, a group of high school students from Upland High School went to Huntington Beach to celebrate their upcoming graduation on Thursday. At about 4:30, three senior boys were sucked down by the under current. One came up quickly, and is now fine. One was under for a few minutes and is in serious condition at the hospital. Oh my gosh...Nick and I were talking about some kids from Upland on the way to the cars from the pier...and I thought the current was strong.
