School starts tomorrow. It is just one brief day, and a relatively short shift, but something final seems to come with it. It will be a good day, but it will also rub into my face the absences of the people i've been letting myself not face. i feel the same way.

holy cow zach just made me so happy...

ok, focus...yeah. i'm usually kind of excited for school, especially once it starts, but i find myself almost completely unexcited for this one-- and it's my senior year! i miss my summer experiences already, i dwell on who i was in the last three years, what i did that was fun or meaningful in the past...more than i should. i feed myself with nostalgia.
pretty much everyone who has left's advice was "Enjoy senior year! It's amazing, the best one!" and they all had friends who went away, a variety of experiences...
maybe it gets better.
maybe we just have to get back into "it."
