I just fanboyed all over myself. The shot of Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, and Lighting Lad raising their fists makes me gidddy! I was very surprised to see Persuader added as a villian!! January 15th will be a happy night of television watching!!!!

I fanboy freaked as well when I saw the Legion. That is still one of my favorite team comic books of all time, probably seconded to the Defenders.

That's the exact direction that show needed to go. I don't really watch it anymore(except for the bits I catch before Supernatural comes on)and it seemed they had painted themselves into a corner. I'm glad to see they've found a window to crawl out of!

Except for a few Green Arrow episodes, I have not watched Smallville in years. I really hope this does turn things around so they can go out on a high note, story/critical-wise.

Smallville is one of those shows that I cannot help to wacth, no matter if it is good or bad. I keep watching it mostly out of habit. I thought that it wuld have been taken off a few years ago. Then again, I thought that about Angel, and then realized how great it was after it went off the air.

Oh... what is that I hear... The dying breath of a show that should have given up the ghost years ago. Another attempt to get a ratings boost on nostalgia they have ignored up to this point.

Another horseshit maneuver in spirit of putting Worf on DS9, brining 7of9 onto the Voyager, bringing Colonel Carter to Atlantis, and Christopher Reeve on Smallville.

Next thing you know... they will do a Star Trek prequel with a young Kirk and Spock.

I would rather see excitement for something that was in the spirit of the character throughout the show... i.e. Justice League Unlimited, Batman: The Animated Series, Even the Original Flash live action, the 70's Hulk TV Series... but Smallville has been drivel from the beginning, and this is just a stunt to get people like you and I to watch the show and keep it limping along. The "Justice League" horseshit was the first... now this is actually an insult to this Legion fan.

I will continue to show my support of the Legion by buying the Levitz trades as they are reprinted, no matter how many copies I already own.

Well I just read that Geoff Johns was writing this episode... makes me have much more confidence in the way it will be presented, but I still think its a cheap ratings stunt.
