Wow, fuck a load of that shit. Wish I had been there, since I don't really get drunk and I haven't gotten to fight anyone in a long time.

I would have honestly gotten the gun, but I wouldn't fire at anyone. Two shots in the air(fired up and at an angle, so that the bullets descent is going towards a less-populated area), remove finger from trigger, point in direction of punks from a decent distance. Then watch the kids piss themselves as they run.

Of course, then you get in the car and get the fuck out of there ASAP.
