3 distro's and 12 hours later ...

and i still cant find any linux/unix distro that supports my video card correctly, even with the Nvidia drivers SPECIFICLY for the distro im using, the GeForce 4 ti4600 is just to new for them all

a) man pages are your friend

b) what distro's are you trying? I can find you drivers for a ti4600..or know people that can.

c) wtf do you need d3d for?

I've tried, suse, libranet, and freebsd, and redhat, and slackware, and debian, and mandrake :-D and i can find the drivers just fine, from the nvidia site, and i follow the man pages and install instructions down to the T, individualized for each distro, but i still cant get the damn thing to recognize :(
