Robotic future?
Click to viewWell, the phone I ordered last friday came yesterday. Actually it came on tuesday, but UPS sucks and I can't ever get my packages. I got it yesterday because my awesome awesome friend stayed at my house waiting for it.
I was very excited, I plugged in my sim card almost immediately. I personalized it, I did all sorts of things. I checked to see if my text messages were still there. They were - but strangely, I couldn't see the names of the senders - I could only see the numbers they had been sent from. I tried to see my phonebook to see if there was a problem. I couldn't access it.
I called t-mobile. They asked if there was another sim card I could use. I asked my roommate to borrow his sim card. The phone wouldn't even read his.
Sigh. I went through all that trouble only to get a phone that I have to immediately send back.
At least we can sleep safe in our beds knowing that the robotic future is still distant.
