He opened his eyes, blinded slightly by the sunlight streaming through the windows, and rolled towards the wall.  He lay there for a moment, feeling the circulation in his arm returning with pricks of pain before letting out a sigh.  Realizing a small detail ("Sunlight?"), Siwan sat up quickly, unknowingly lucky for being so short that his head didn't hit the top bunk.  Sure enough the blanket usually dangling over his bunk was missing and sitting on the bed across from him was a smiling boy with a sketchpad.

"Ya, Kwanghee," Siwan started to get out of bed, pulling his shirt back into alignment as it practically strangled his body.  "Where's the blanket?"

The boy gave him a sly look before continuing to draw.  Siwan felt his face turn red.

"Ya!"  He reached out and ripped the sketchpad from the older boy's hands looking at the stick drawing before laughing.  "You taking art classes?"

Kwanghee snatched the pad backed to him and hugged it close.  "You always look like this to me - it's the most realistic thing I've ever drawn."

Scowling Siwan took the picture from his friend's hands again and stared at it.  It was a stick figure with an abnormally large head and short, symmetrical limbs (since when were his legs so short?) laying on a box with another box above him.

"Honestly speaking, I'm surprised you could even do this much."  Siwan smirked at the older boy who made a face at him.

"Don't be so jealous."  Kwanghee leaned back onto the bed he was sitting on, staring at the younger boy through half closed eyes.  "All that work and I'm exhausted, I think I'm going to take a nap now."

He pulled a blanket up over his head and Siwan only watched him for an instant before reacting.  "That's my blanket you jerk!"

Kwanghee wasn't able to pull the blanket up fast enough to cover his smile and Siwan grabbed its end threateningly.

"Kwanghee, you'd better give it back, unh?"  He tugged it harshly but found the older boy already had a grip on it.  Kwanghee stared at him for a moment before sitting up, still holding the blanket tightly, and looked into his eyes deeply.  Slightly discerned, Siwan stared at the older boy cautiously.

"Are you depressed?"  Siwan expected those words least to come from his friend and his mouth dropped.  Kwanghee took it as an invitation to continue.  "Honestly, blocking out the sunlight and all; reacting so violently when I try to let the light finally touch you after being in the shadows for so long."

"Ya!" Siwan smacked Kwanghee on the head who just laughed good naturedly.  "Give it back, I can finally sleep today!"

It was true, it was the first time in a long time that they had a free day.

"So if you sleep you'll be happy once again?"  There was a smile in Kwanghee's eyes and Siwan felt his heart jump as the taller boy stood up with the blanket in hand.

With a quick movement Kwanghee snatched Siwan in his arms before forcing them onto the bed - the blanket wrapped around their bodies.  Siwan was too shocked to react, but the sudden warmth of the body next to him woke him up quickly.  He began to struggle to get out but Kwanghee forced him down, laying on top of the younger boy possessively.

"Come on, let's sleep."  He said tiredly into Siwan's shoulder, hair falling over his face.  Siwan stared at him longer than what was necessary, watching the way the sun illuminated the tanner boy's face before Kwanghee opened his eyes and caught his look.  Untangling a hand from the blankets he brushed it along Siwan's face, allowing it to linger on his cheek for a moment.  Siwan's breath caught, realizing how close the two were and how much the proximity was driving him mad.

Staring at him, Siwan couldn't think of anything other than the boy as sunlight and he'd never wanted to touch it so bad.

Kwanghee smiled lightly before closing his eyes but Siwan couldn't help himself.  He closed the distance quickly, finding Kwanghee's lips with his own and allowing them to linger there even after the older boy had opened his eyes.  Staring into them, he leaned forward again and kissed his jaw.

There was a moment of confusion in Kwanghee's eyes before he smiled and raised himself up on the bed.  There was a slight pause before Kwanghee leaned down and captured Siwan's lips on his own for a kiss deeper than the one before.  Bodies tangled, lips taunting, hands roaming, and eyes watching:

Siwan had never liked the sunlight so much.
