Summary: Joon's sick so Mir goes to take care of him
"Where's Joon?" Mir asked GO who was sitting next to him on the couch.
"He's got a cold." GO told him absently mindedly, staring at the TV. He slapped his knee and swore after the sports team he was cheering for was scored against. "Every time we get close to winning - every time!"
"When did that happen?" Mir asked surprised, guilty for not noticing it sooner. GO shook his head at the screen before turning to Mir and asking him to repeat himself. "When did he get sick?"
"Well," his friend scratched his head. "He got sick after that photo shoot where he didn't bring a jacket so I'm guessing a couple of days ago? It's been building so while you and Thunder went out to eat he went to bed."
"Ah," Mir responded. "I'm going to go check on him then. You going to be okay with out my company?"
"Hm, what?" GO turned to him, already distracted by the game. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Seungho'll be back soon so I'll make him watch it with me." The older boy licked his lips mysteriously.
Sometimes I wonder about the two of them, Mir thought to himself navigating his way through the small apartment to his shared room. The lights were off save for the slide show on a computer screen. As quietly as possible Mir moved through the crammed room and turned off the machine.
He could faintly make out Joon's outline in the dark - a soundless presence that moved so little Mir thought he was scarcely breathing.
"Joon," He whispered quietly. If Joon was awake he'd reply.
"Ungh." His answer was incomprehensible, but Mir knew he was awake. Walking carefully he leaned over his friend.
"You okay? You need anything?" Mir asked carefully. The room smelled like sickness so he knew that Joon probably had a nasty cold.
"No, but it's really hot in here." Joon told him groggily. Mir pulled at the boys blankets, attempting to pull them off, when he suddenly brushed Joon's bare arm. It was burning hot.
"Hyung!" Mir exclaimed immediately placing his hand on the boy's forehead. He moved so fast that he accidentally slapped Joon who jumped at the contact. "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry," Mir told him apologetically and felt his heart jump at the smile on Joon's face from his joke. "You're really warm."
"Obviously," Joon laughed but it sounded strained and un-Joon-like.
"Where's that..." Mir muttered to himself, turning on the desk light and shifting through boxes of unused items. "Found it!" He pulled the large white fan from the back of a closet and quickly plugged it in only to find that the cord was not long enough to reach his friend. He swore under his breathe and told Joon he'd be right back.
"GO," Mir walked restlessly into the living room. "GO do you know if we-" Mir paused mid step at the sight of Seungho laying in GO's arms on the couch. Neither looked embarrassed at their discovery but Seungho rose at the worried look on the younger boy's face.
"What are you looking for?" He asked.
"Do we, uh" Mir began awkwardly, feeling slightly guilty for taking up their time. "Do we have any extension cords?"
"Oh," Seungho smiled. "I thought it was something bad from the look on your face. Check the kitchen drawers, if not, I know that Thunder has some in his room."
"Okay." Mir didn't have the patience to search for the chords so he went directly to Thunder who gladly gave him one.
"You need any help?" He asked, putting down his book and getting out of bed. "I can go get some water."
"Yeah, actually," Mir realized. "That would be great. Thanks."
Heading down the hallway he heard Thunder's long strides behind him before they disappeared into the living room. There was a sudden pause and then a loud, "Uh~ am I interrupting something?" that caused a smile to come to Mir's face. Re-entering the room he plugged the extension into the wall and connected the fan before bringing it closer to Joon's bed.
Joon turned to watch Mir and gave him a smile. "You're such a doting friend." There was something dancing behind his eyes as he emphasized the last word (causing Mir to blush) before he closed them a sighed. Thunder knocked on the door before entering and seting down a towel and a bowl of water. He gave a small wave to Mir as he closed the door quietly behind him.
Mir was thankful for the dim lighting from the lamp otherwise Thunder might have seen his face burning up.
"Shut up," He mumbled. "You owe me big time for this - I mean like a nice meat-filled dinner."
Joon laughed. "Whatever you say."
Washing his face gently with the cold water, Mir could already tell that his feverish state was fading. "Did you take medicine earlier?"
Joon nodded. "Before I went to bed."
Ah, that explains the sudden decrease in temperature. Mir concluded. Washing Joon's arms off he noticed the sudden goose bumps sprouting along its length. Reaching for the blankets thrown down by his feet, he felt Joon's grip on his shoulder. The older boy was already half asleep, the fan blowing hair onto the sensitive skin by his nose and his hand pushing the strands away half-heartedly. Mir gave him a sly look, contemplating the consequences of what was on his mind before climbing carefully over Joon's body.
Settling himself into the bed he pulled the blankets up over their body's before turning his back so he faced the wall. There was no real reason why he was laying down in the bed with Joon except for the feeling of exhaustion in his own body and the reluctance to have to cross the room should his friend need anything. He told himself that again and again until the sound of the fan and the warmth of the body next to his lulled him to sleep.

"Should we wake them?" A voice crossed through Mir's dream, and he was suddenly caught between consciousness and sleep.
"I don't think so," A voice chuckled, each reverberating note pulsing through Mir's body. Reluctant to his body's slow but sure awakening, Mir snuggled deeper in the blanket around his body.
"Thunder had a field day this morning." The first voice commented with a smile in his voice. "Practically peed in his pants first from seeing this and then from laughing."
"He kept saying that he was the loneliest member." The deeper voice added and Mir recognized the sound of the door shutting and the voices fading down the hallway.
There was a strange pressure across his midsection and he went to move it before freezing at the feel of warm skin beneath his hands. Opening his eyes he groaned from the sunlight filling the room. Shielding his eyes the best he could, Mir stared at the face laying next to his before realizing their positioning.
Far from their innocent placements last night, Mir was tucked tightly into Joon's who was - unbeknownst to the sleeper - spooning the younger boy. One of Joon's hands was under their shared pillow while the other was wrapped firmly around Mir's waist (drooping close to a sensitive area), while their legs were entangled.
Feeling the sudden movement behind him, Mir closed his eyes in embarrassment. How was he going to explain himself?
Joon made a painful noise suddenly behind him and Mir chuckled from the realization that his hyung had also been blinded. Making an a noise at the back of his throat in confusion, Mir felt the arm under him extend as Joon attempted to sit up. It took him two seconds to look at their positioning before falling back on the bed. He loosened his hold slightly on Mir but didn't remove his arms.
"What time is it?" He asked and Mir shrugged, attempting to turn around in his spot before a sudden gasp stopped him.
"What?" He asked, turning his head so he could see the boy behind him.
Joon met his eyes guiltily before saying, "Don't move so much, it's the morning and you're extremely warm."
It took Mir a minute to understand the meaning behind Joon's before he turned to face the wall with a blush. "Maybe we should move then." He suggested staring so hard at the plaster in front of him he thought it would burst into flames.
"Enh." Joon responded but neither boy moved.
"You feeling any better?" Mir asked, breaking the comfortable silence and attempting to calm his heart.
"Yeah," Joon mumbled, ducking his head and Mir jumped at the feel of his lips moving against his neck. Joon jerked back as soon as he felt Mir's movement. "Sorry, I didn't mean to."
"It's okay." Mir felt a sudden disappointment as Joon began to move away, although there wasn't much room on the twin bed.
Joon stood up and stretched before stepping back, stumbling from unexpectedly stepping in the bowl of water and sighing as the contents spilled across the floor.
Mir jumped up and offered to get a towel - he wanted anything to get out of the room. He entered the kitchen and immediately regretted it after being met with three pairs of curious eyes. Thunder's smile grew so big and wicked that Mir had to avoid his gaze. He grabbed a towel as quickly as he could before leaving, wincing at the sound of laughter from the kitchen.
He threw the cloth on the floor as he entered and watched Joon wipe up the liquid - uncontrollably Mir admired the movements of muscles beneath the older boy's skin before the latter caught his eye and grinned.
"I'm going to go get breakfast." Joon told him with knowing smile, running his hand over the younger boy's shoulders as he left. Mir watched him walk down the hallway as his face turned red.
Satisfied that all the water had been cleaned up, Mir threw the towel on the floor before walking into the living room. He turned on the TV but froze when he heard Joon's voice in the kitchen. Quickly muting the show he leaned forward to overhear their conversation.
"You feeling any better?" GO asked and Mir heard the faucet turn on.
"Yeah, although I remember burning up last night." Joon laughed. "Thank god for that fan."
"Your room was freezing this morning though," Seungho commented and Mir could hear the smirk in his voice. "How did you keep warm?"
"Well I had the blanket my mom gave me for Christmas," Joon said through a mouthful of food. "And~"
"What?" The three voices demanded, even though they knew the answer.
"I had the most comfortable, heated blanket ever. It was a perfect fit and warmer than anything else in the world." Joon must have smiled, Mir knew it. "Plus - it's not only portable, but completely legal as well."
There was a cascade of laughter from the room and Mir's face went red.
"Hey blankie," Mir's eyes shot up to the door way where Joon stood with a lazy smirk. He was holding a box of cereal. "You hungry?"

I'm slightly addicted to writing fanfics for this couple XD
They're so adorable and I think I'm better at writing their cute side rather than their hot and heavy...stuff LOL.
Hope you enjoyed!
Again I'd like to thank everyone who's commented on my two other Oneshots! They always make me feel really good.
