I have just been told of my first business trip. Apparently all GM's and Franchisors (thats me!) are gathering in LA for a conference on the west coast

Not to be an instigator, but IIRC the thing to do when travelling on the company dime is to have all your friends over for a big party in the hotel room, trash the joint, and let your employer pick it up.

I mean, unless you're gonna be a responsible adult, and want to keep your job, or SOMETHING.

Shenanigans depends largely on where the hotel is located. I assume in close proximity to LAX but who knows?

Well looks like I can't nix the hotel, conference is inside it, and I have already been roped into schmoozy events afterwards.

I am told I couldn't go out and socialize unless I did it after 8pm.
