solana beach is getting evacuated...good thing ou beat 'em to the punch! hopefully your relatively urban and very coastal home is safe.

Are you and Ivonne/Josh's place out of harm's way down there?

We're still seeing fires here that are uncomfortably close.

Her house is safe right now. Sky is even clear there, which is pretty eery given the smell of fire in the air. All the fires are way north or way south of them.

I am. I am lucky nough to be house-sitting in Golden Hill near the 805 and Univ. I haven't been home since early this morning. I live in Solana Beach, and it seems to be like the ONE area not about to be slammed...
