Amazing how they've pulled themselves out of Katrina. It did take us some time until the whole scale of the damage kinda rang home coz you don't really notice that much at the start, at least not in the French quarter (that's where we're staying). However, after a while it's quite evident, especially when you're a bit off the beaten track

We walked past Mrs Rice's house yesterday and visited the plantation ehere the Interview was shot today. Coincidence on both counts, mind you!
