This time last year - my husband was in the shower getting ready to take me to the hospital. I had been laboring at home since 3AM and the contractions were still 9 minutes apart but they were so painful I could barely stand. We got to the hospital around 3:30 and my water broke shortly after that...this year has been the most trying/hard/

When is her party? Tomorrow on her bday or this weekend? And when did you post that Ash was walking??? I missed it!!!!!

Also, try not to flip if she shows up with a bunch of cookies, because something tells me she's going to...and if that's the only thing she does to ruin the party, then I'd count my blessings. I don't blame you for not opening gifts...we're talking at least 25-50 gifts to open, and she really won't open many herself anyways, so it's mama that does the opening.

Her party is this Saturday - the ninth. I think I posted it in the Sept mommy thread awhile back - she started taking steps on our vacation - but now, fully walking.

So, what is the status with MIL..had your husband talked to her since the birthday drama?

I was forced to drag my ass over there this past Saturday. I didn't say a word to her, but Court got her birthday presents. I don't think I'll say more than 5 words to her ever again. I can't believe how much our MIL's suck.

I agree. It is hard because no matter what she does, she is DH's mother..he can't help that she is a nut. The one thing that keeps me going - I know one day, Ashley will see these things on her own...
