Our fourth was pretty low key - went to a cookout with some friends that we haven't seen in a while - they have two daughters - 14 and 10...they kept Ashley occupied. Then, we just hung out at their house - we had bad thunderstorms and Ashley was exhausted by 7 - so we went home - all of us were in bed by 9...however, Ashley was up about 6 times

Glad to hear you had a good 4th. Sorry about the stress you've been under lately. Ashley sure is growing up fast! That's a great idea to document her progress. Also sorry to hear about your MIL. That must be so hard. I know for a fact my mom hated my Grandma (Dad's mom) with a passion but we never knew about it until we were older and we saw for ourselves the feeling was mutual. Good luck!
