Today is supposed to be our tryout for the school's Battle of the Bands, and I can't stay after school because j'ai besoin d'aller chez la dentiste. POO. I am little soothed by the fact that Dan can't stay, either. Since I don't do so much in the band (still looking for that keyboard!) yet, I feel the need to attend everything that so much as

I have to throw this in: as much as it would be safe and comfortable to stay here, if you go away you'll have the adventure and excitement of doing something different, of meeting people from all kinds of places and of freedom and independence. Don't choose lightly- it's awesome to have friends here, but you'll miss out on so much if you just stick with them because you know them! When you don't have any friends with you, you're forced to meet people. Yes, it's awkward and not very fun at first, but it's really awesome once you know people. Just don't forget the value of adventure, I guess I'm saying. The hardest thing about coming home for me is that in Saint John everything I did or tried was new, and here I'm back to the mundane, same-old same-old. It's boring!!!

Staying here is not boring!! And it will still less expensive in the long run if you stay here and say home, even with that nice amount of cash from CBU. I know that I'm waaay to close to my family and friends/POOR to leave this year, but that doesn't mean I won't be able to get an aparment eventually and go away after my bacholers. There's lots of time to go out and explore, don't feel like you have to now!
