Tuesday I got to school and found out that the Biology lab that I thought was due on Wednesday was actually due that day, and so I had zilch to pass in. That made me really pissed off at myself

Gosh, Sarah, you're making me depressed with these details, which is impressive, because even by comparison I've had a crappy week. It's too bad that all of this showed up at once. I find that whenever that happens, it's like there's no time to brush yourself off before the next punch. I hope you're holding up well, and I know you can.

I'm sorry to hear about your fish (did I know you had a fish?) but coincidentally, some furry bundles of joy were born today that you might be interested in. Let me know if your mom has relented on the issue.
