A great review that pointed out many things I didn't catch on first viewing. It made me think about the Uther/Morgana/Arthur relationship a bit, and I think there are two main differences between Arthur and Morgana. For one, Arthur is Uthers son, but Morgana only came to him when she was ten (I belive it was mentioned later). So Arthur is more or less obligated to love Uther, while he has to win Morgana over. Uther obviously loves her as a daughter, and he wants her to love him as a father, and so he's making an effort with her he never had to make with his son
