I yelled out "Schroedinger's fetus!" at that moment. Could not restrain myself.

Husband has an elaborate theory that little Schrody is THE DOCTOR'S, from some screwing around that's been erased from their memories, possibly out of guilt? I dunno, that's a little... grown-up for Doctor Who. There was some definite weirdness between Eleven and Amy that Rory was picking up on. Huh.

I'm loving this season so far.

...60s horror movie special effects shots. They're cheap as hell to shoot, but require a masterful director and camera crew to pull off.

Did you get Count Dracula's permission before you borrowed Mr. Renfrue?

WORD. Nice to see someone else spotting the Renfield/Renfrue connection. I take it we're also meant to see the Silence as psychic vampires as well as scavengers. Loved the direction in the episode.

And I ADORE RORY. Darvill rocks my word and is definitely as talented as Smith. If I was writing fic I'd be OT3-ing River/Jack/Doctor, but if it wasn't Jack then it would have to be Rory.

Amy? I think Karen Gillan's acting is much, much better this year but she's no Rory.

I think my new OT3 is River/Doctor/TARDIS. The TARDIS definitely has a thing for River.

But is anyone besides me starting to get a bit annoyed at all the cleverness?

*raises hand*

I'm totally sick of the "who does Amy TWOOLY luurve?" stuff - like it's important?! (Okay, so it's important to Rory, I suppose). I didn't like her much in S5 and the only reason I'm not quite as annoyed by her now is because she's not had so much screentime due to the presence of River and Rory. She treats him like a doormat and he deserves better.

I'll be the one sitting in the corner sulking.

I have cultivated obliviousness to all the romantic angst of the Doctor's companion du jour. It's makes the show so much easier to watch.

The thing is, I'm not really a shipper when it comes to DW (apart from Ten and Donna who were totally doing it in between episodes! *g* - but that wasn't a romance) so normally I don't fuss about it either. I'm just getting really fed up with having this supposed "love-triangle" shoved down my throat.
