Don't get TTD out, goto www.openttd.net and download Open Transport Tycoon. It's an open-source and very actively-updated clone written in C (I may contribute a little...) and has a stupid amount of enhancements.

It also runs perfectly in Win32 environments AND on Linux/BSD/Posix environments, including OSX.

I miss you more pretty x
